Police identify 18-year-old killed in North Austin motorcycle crash

Austin police identified a man who was killed in a motorcycle crash over the weekend in North Austin. Police responded to the single motorcycle crash on November 2 at around 3:38 p.m. in the 600 block

Austin police identified a man who was killed in a motorcycle crash over the weekend in North Austin.

Police responded to the single motorcycle crash on November 2 at around 3:38 p.m. in the 600 block of East Anderson Lane service road westbound, near the intersection of U.S. 183 Highway and Interstate 35.

The driver, later identified as Ronny Perez, 18, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident is being investigated asAustin’s 74th fatal crash of 2024.

The investigation is still ongoing.
